Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a dedicated team member to assist store operations in the grocery or freight department, leading by example and delivering fast, friendly service. You will perform clerk, cashier and freight stocker duties while assisting the department manager with daily operations.

Main responsibilities include welcoming customers, resolving questions, processing transactions, stocking, maintaining cleanliness and enforcing safety.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Leadership and ability to guide others in a busy store.
• Knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task across clerk, cashier and freight tasks.
• Basic math and numerical accuracy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with store operations in designated department (grocery or freight).
• Provide customer service, handle questions and complaints professionally.
• Perform duties of clerk, cashier and/or freight stocker as needed.
• Monitor customer traffic, cleanliness and display upkeep.
• Support supervisors and lead by example in daily tasks.
