Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a Grocery Clerk/Cashier/Freight Stocker to assist management with store operations in the grocery or freight department. You will lead by example, answer customer questions, and provide fast, friendly service to store customers.

Responsibilities include performing clerk duties, stocking shelves, handling cashier tasks, processing refunds, and maintaining cleanliness and safety. Must have strong communication, reliability, and availability for varied shifts including

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and assist department staff.
Able to perform cashiering, stocking, and basic math.
Understanding company policies and procedures.
Able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist in designated department (grocery or freight) and provide fast, friendly service.
Answer customer questions and handle complaints professionally.
Perform duties of clerk, cashier, and freight stocker as needed.
Lead by example and supervise assigned employees.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area.
Monitor checkout lanes and customer flow.
Assist supervisor and provide direction to clerks.
Ensure proper handling of money and UPC scanning issues.
