Nike is hiring a Department Manager at the Nike Clearance Store Randhurst in Mt. Prospect, IL. This full-time role leads a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, coaching staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve store growth goals.

You’ll train your team, uphold Nike Service Principles, and foster an inclusive workplace while working a schedule that includes mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
• Able to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team that helps keep all store functions running seamlessly.
• Ensuring store is staffed by attracting, assessing and onboarding future teammates.
• Equip store employees with tools needed to succeed in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Leading store’s team and business results/critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership and management.
• Managing product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
