Job summary

Clemson University seeks a Department Chair for the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Sciences to lead curricular development and implement the new DVM program. Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree; faculty at Associate/Professor level
• Board certification or PhD required
• Strong communication and modern pedagogy skills
• Ability to lead curricular development and faculty governance

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership for curricular development and implementation of the new DVM curriculum
• Lead and guide faculty in scholarship and teaching
• Develop and manage the departmental budget and strategic personnel plan
• Promote collaboration, shared governance, and accountability across the college
