Monday - Friday 8-1630 with occasional or possible weekends as need.Will cross train as check in for front desk at clinic locations.

The Department Assistant is responsible to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in an organized, timely and accurate manner. This individual is primarily responsible for scheduling appointment in the EPIC Electronic Health Record System.
Other Responsibilities Include:
Promptly answers/responds to phone calls, voicemails, and emails.
Coordinates departmental new hire orientation including issuing equipment and supplies, providing a tour and introductions, reviewing non-clinical policies and providing overview of computer, voicemail, etc.
Updates departmental policies and procedures.
Coordinates computers for clinical staff including issuing, ordering accessories, keeping equipment charged and supplied, and troubleshooting.
Assists in updating and maintaining staff schedule calendars.
Updates departmental website as needed.
