Insite US in Denver seeks a Tax Senior Manager with 10+ years in public accounting tax, specializing in construction. You’ll own tax compliance and planning for business and individual clients, review returns, advise on tax strategy, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Strong construction industry tax experience is essential.
• CPA or Bar licence required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong experience with S-Corporation, C-Corporation, Partnership and individual taxation.
• Previous experience managing client portfolios and supervising tax professionals.
• Excellent technical research and communication skills.
• Confidence advising business owners on complex tax matters.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements independently.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tax compliance and planning engagements for a portfolio of business and individual clients, focusing on construction sector.
• Manage all aspects of annual federal and state tax compliance engagements.
• Review and sign tax returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Partnerships and individuals.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential tax exposures.
• Provide tax planning advice and prepare client projections.
• Oversee extensions, quarterly estimated payments and responses to tax notices.
• Research complex tax matters and prepare technical client memoranda.
• Manage engagement scheduling, deadlines and billing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Supervise, train and develop associates and managers.
• Ensure all engagements are delivered accurately and on time.
