Job summary

Colorado-based investment bank seeks an Investment Banking Associate to join its Denver office. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior bankers and clients on a broad range of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements across multiple industries.

The Associate will play a key role in transaction execution, financial analysis, client presentations, and managing analysts throughout the deal process.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of investment banking experience.
• Strong M&A transaction experience with live deal execution.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Execute sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, debt placements, equity raises, and strategic advisory engagements.
• Build and oversee financial models including valuation, merger models, LBOs, operating models, and accretion/dilution analyses.
• Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, CIMs, management presentations, and board materials.
• Conduct financial, industry, and company-specific research and analysis.
• Manage due diligence processes and data rooms coordinating with clients and advisors.
• Develop and maintain financial and valuation models to support recommendations.
• Mentor and supervise analysts, reviewing work and guiding deal execution.
• Participate in client meetings, management presentations, and business development.
