Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Distribution Center Operations Manager for our Denver, CO Redistribution Center. This leader will own the associate and customer experience, overseeing receiving, storing, order processing, shipping, and delivery of floor coverings and related materials.

The role requires 4-year degree and 5+ years of management experience; travel to regional warehouses is expected. A strong emphasis on safety, team leadership and process improvement is essential to meet customer

Qualifications

Four-year degree and 5+ years of extensive management experience.
Candidate must have leadership experience with large, diverse organizations.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
Candidate must be organized with specific attention to detail.
Candidate must be willing and able to travel to regional warehouses located throughout the country.
Self-motivated and results oriented.

Responsibilities

Oversee receiving, storing, order processing, shipping, and delivery of floor coverings.
Coordinate with Sales and partners to meet customer demands.
Ensure a safe work environment; comply with DOT and OSHA requirements.
Motivate and empower associates to achieve facility goals.
Work to increase market saturation and negotiate freight rates with customers.
Ensure effective utilization of transportation equipment and personnel for delivery and pickup.
