Job summary

CloudHesive is seeking a Network Engineer I to support and maintain customer networking across our MSP portfolio. This is a remote role based in the Denver metro area, with on-site visits as needed.

You will apply networking expertise to diagnose issues and ensure reliable operations alongside senior engineers. You\'ll configure Cisco switches and Fortinet firewalls, perform monitoring, AWS tasks, and document changes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of networking or IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet equipment.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and AWS environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and customer-service skills.
• Remote work capability with occasional on-site Denver visits.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, Fortinet).
• Provide on-site support at customer locations in the Denver metro area.
• Perform network monitoring, incident response, and triage across customer environments.
• Execute AWS networking tasks including VPC configuration, security groups, and VPNs.
• Document configurations and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
