Columbia Machine, Inc. is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to direct fabrication, machine shop, and assembly activities in Denver.

You will ensure adherence to the Master Production Schedule, drive continuous improvement, and manage personnel across multiple departments. The role requires seven+ years of management experience, a bachelor's degree in business or related field, and strong cost/schedule control.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERP systems including Business Central.
• Vault experience is preferred.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude or Copilot.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
• Analytical and process-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates, and executes production and capacity schedules.
• Coordinates customer requirements with sales, engineering, and production control.
• Establishes work order priorities and monitors progress to resolve issues.
• Ensures product quality to reduce scrap and rework.
• Drives on-time delivery and manages shop throughput.
• Promotes 6S and safety across manufacturing operations.
• Manages budget, variances, and CI initiatives.
• Leads cross-functional CI committee and staff meetings.
