Job summary

42 North Dental in Needham, MA is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam to care delivery. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on comprehensive treatment planning.

You will promote oral health, educate patients on options, and maintain records while keeping up with the latest standards of care through continuing education and collaboration with our Doctor network.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program is required.
• Active state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B must be documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
