Job summary

42 North Dental, based near Boston, MA, is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam to final treatment in our established Maynard practice.

The position offers in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong patient flow. A commitment to ongoing education and collaboration with a network of doctors is encouraged.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance must be provided.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment options.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment choices.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain oral health.
• Review patient records and interpret x-rays and tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissue.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
