Job summary

The Ohio State University Health Services seeks a Dentist to join the FQHC team at Eastland Prosperity Center (2577). You will work with the COO, Dental Director, and CEO to promote a team-based approach to dental care delivery and to set professional standards.

You may mentor pre-doctoral dental students from OSU College of Dentistry as part of the Ohio Project designation, under your supervision; excellence in patient care and meticulous medical records are expected.

Qualifications

• Licensure to practice dentistry in the State of Ohio (or eligibility for licensure).
• BLS-HCW certification required.
• Hands-on clinical skills in general restorative, endodontic, periodontics, and minor oral surgical services, including diagnostic skills.
• Considerable experience (minimum 2 years) performing dental care in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency with an electronic health record.

Responsibilities

• Promote a team-based approach to dental care delivery with the COO, Dental Director, and CEO.
• Precept and supervise dental students from OSU College of Dentistry under the Ohio Project designation.
• Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and medical record keeping.
