Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. seeks a Dentist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive community setting. This per diem role offers up to 19 hours weekly withflexible scheduling and a focus on comprehensive general dentistry.

The successful candidate will hold a Dental Medicine degree and an active NY license, with DEA registration and BLS/CPR certification preferred. Strong teamwork and EHR proficiency are desirable as part of a collaborative dental team.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Medicine degree from an accredited University.
• Current and unrestricted New York State dental license to practice.
• At least one year of experience working as a staff Dentist.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health records systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver general dentistry, diagnostic, preventive, and restorative services to patients.
• Refer patients to appropriate healthcare providers for additional evaluation or support when necessary.
• Maintain thorough patient care records, including medications, allergies, data, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Oversee dental care quality standards through Quality Assurance and Peer Review Audits.
• Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plans, and expected outcomes.
• Address patient inquiries promptly and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues respectfully.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and carry out other relevant duties as needed.

Compensation:

$76.92/hr.

Schedule & Work Hours:
