Job summary

Community Health Center of Buffalo Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a compassionate Dentist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting.

The Dentist will diagnose, treat a range of dental issues, perform procedures such as fillings and extractions, and educate patients on oral health. The role requires a Dental Medicine degree, a current NY license, DEA registration, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Dental Medicine degree from an accredited university.
• Current and unrestricted New York State dental license.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff Dentist.
• Current DEA registration.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health records systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry and various dental services to patients.
• Refer patients to other healthcare providers when needed.
• Maintain patient care records accurately.
• Ensure quality standards through audits.
• Educate patients on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as required.
