Job summary

Community Council of Idaho is seeking a dental professional to provide comprehensive dental care in our Idaho facility. You will examine patients, diagnose oral conditions, and carry out treatments while maintaining strict HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, diagnose their dental/oral conditions, prescribe and/or carry out appropriate treatments.
• Record patient-dentist transactions in the patient’s dental records.
• Complete referrals, data collection instruments, and other records.
• Educate patients in oral health related conditions and prevention.
• Must be able to listen to concerns and provide follow-up in a timely manner.
• Ability to calm nervous patients.
• Ability to respond effectively to patients of all ages.
• Train and evaluate assigned staff, remaining calm and professional under pressure.
• Work independently, exercise judgment, and resolve problems.
• Potential for mucous membrane or skin exposure to blood; PPE used as required.
