Job summary

42 North Dental in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice with a strong patient flow.

You’ll manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment planning, perform restorative and surgical procedures, and collaborate with a team dedicated to high standards of care.

This role requires a DMD or DDS, current license, and BLS/CPR; the schedule includes two Saturdays per month and meets part-time hours.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• CPR/BLS certification and Hepatitis B vaccination documented.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and present treatment plans to patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education.
