Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT, is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment planning, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This position offers part-time or full-time hours (8AM–5PM) with an annual rate ranging from $75,000 to $250,000 USD and up to 36% collections, plus benefits and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education
