Position Details

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide medical services as a Dentist to maintain employee and client health.
  2. Educate on dental care practices including diet, brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.
  3. Perform dental procedures such as cavity fillings, x-ray examinations, teeth straightening, extractions, and repairs.
  4. Perform limited gum and supporting bone surgeries to treat gum disease.
  5. Administer anesthetics and prescribe medications.
  6. Coordinate patient stabilization and evacuation in certain settings.
  7. Document all care and follow-up in patient records.
  8. Uphold patient dignity and adhere to the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
  9. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality and stay updated on policies.
  10. Follow infection control, medication, and controlled substance protocols to ensure safety.
  11. Maintain accurate patient records and manage supplies efficiently.
  12. Ensure patient confidentiality and proper equipment storage and maintenance.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Dental School.
  • Active, unrestricted Dental License without pending adverse actions.
  • At least 3 years recent experience as a Dentist.
  • Recent clinical patient care experience within the past year.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer use and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under stress and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Clear background check and drug screening.
  • Current certifications and proficiency in English.
  • Commitment to safety and participation in safety initiatives.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Work primarily in an indoor environment.
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
