Position Details

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide dental services to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.
  2. Educate patients on dental care practices such as diet, brushing, flossing, and fluoride use.
  3. Perform dental procedures including decay removal, cavity fillings, x-ray examinations, teeth straightening, extractions, and repair of fractured teeth.
  4. Conduct limited gum and supporting bone surgeries to treat gum diseases.
  5. Administer anesthetics and prescribe medications.
  6. In certain settings, stabilize patients and coordinate their evacuation if needed.
  7. Document all care provided and follow-up requirements.
  8. Respect patient dignity and adhere to the American Hospital Association's Patient Bill of Rights.
  9. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, and stay updated on new developments and policies.
  10. Follow infection control policies, medication procedures, and controlled substance regulations to protect patients and staff.
  11. Maintain accurate patient records and manage nursing supplies inventory.
  12. Ensure patient confidentiality and proper storage of equipment and supplies.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Dental School.
  • Maintain an active, unrestricted Dental License.
  • Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Dentist.
  • Recent clinical experience in patient care within the past year.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and office equipment.
  • Ability to work under stress and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Clear background check and drug screening.
  • Current certifications and proficiency in English communication.
  • Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and confidentiality.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
  • Work primarily in an indoor/office environment.
  • Sitting and standing for extended periods.
