Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed Dentist to lead comprehensive patient care at our Boston-area practice. You will manage the full patient experience from initial exam through treatment planning and delivery of care, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

DDS or DMD degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
Current state dentistry license.
Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Review treatment plan options with patients.
Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through CEs.
