42 North Dental is seeking a licensed Dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care across general dentistry and in-office specialties. You will oversee exams, treatment planning, and deliver care from prevention to surgical procedures in a patient-centered practice.

The role emphasizes up-to-date knowledge of dental standards, meticulous record-keeping, and collaboration with an experienced team in the Boston area, with a strong emphasis on continuing education and ethical care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up to date with new developments and continuing education.
