Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join our Boston-area practice, delivering comprehensive dental care and educating patients on options. You will review records, interpret X-rays, and develop treatment plans to maintain oral health.

This established practice welcomes new patients and emphasizes high-quality care. Required are a DDS/DMD degree (ADA CODA), active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA (or equivalent).
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professional ethics.
• Stay current with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS or CPR certification
