Job summary

42 North Dental in Rhode Island is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice and help deliver healthy, confident smiles for life. You will promote oral health, diagnose and treat dental diseases, and create comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the team.

We offer mentorship, ongoing CE opportunities, and a supportive network of doctors in a growing practice with a strong new-patient flow.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
