Job summary

HealthLinc is seeking a dedicated Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care and supervise Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists. The role collaborates with the Chief Dental Officer and other clinicians to ensure patient-centered care and adherence to clinical guidelines.

The position emphasizes routine and emergency dental services, diagnosis and treatment planning, and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

Dental degree with Indiana licensure.
Not-for-profit experience preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork.
Ability to follow HealthLinc policies and procedures.
Relias training completion is required for assigned training.

Responsibilities

Provides routine and emergency dental services with diagnosis and treatment plans.
Supervises Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists as assigned.
Initiates and interprets x-ray and lab studies.
Administers anesthetics and medications as needed.
Refers patients for specialty care when required.
Performs follow-up patient care and education.
Supports clinic productivity and scheduling guidelines.
Trains staff on illness prevention and best practices.
Maintains high level of customer service and professional conduct.
Manages difficult patients with professionalism and interpersonal skills.
