Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to lead the full patient care experience, from initial exams and treatment planning to delivery of comprehensive dental care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role provides opportunities to shape patient outcomes and aligns with a networked practice philosophy that values education, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
