Job summary

CC Idaho in Idaho Falls is seeking an experienced dentist to provide preventative, complex, and comprehensive dental care. The role requires examining patients, diagnosing conditions, and prescribing or performing appropriate treatments, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance.

Applicants must hold a DDS or equivalent, with an unrestricted Idaho license and DEA registration. Bilingual English/Spanish is valued; travel to Blackfoot location may be required.

Qualifications

• DDS or equivalent from an accredited dental school.
• Unrestricted dental license to practice dentistry in Idaho (D.D.S or D.M.D).
• DEA registration.
• Current CPR/1st Aid.
• Successful clearance of general and DHS background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative, complex, and comprehensive dental care services.
• Examine patients, diagnose their dental/oral conditions, prescribe and/or carry out appropriate treatments.
• Record patient-dentist transactions in the patient’s dental records.
• Complete referrals, data collection instruments, and other records or paper work.
• Educate patients in oral health related conditions and prevention.
• Maintain standards of confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
