Job summary

42North Dental seeks a Dentist for the Gentle Dental Rochester practice. The dentist will manage the full patient experience, from initial exam and treatment planning to delivering care, with in-office collaboration across specialties.

Annual rate of $150,000-$200,000 USD based on production, with bonuses and strong upside tied to performance. Requires a DMD/DDS, valid state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and standards of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry
