Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, seeks a DDS/DMD to lead comprehensive patient care in our Massachusetts practice. You will oversee exams, treatment planning, and delivery of care across in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, educating patients, creating treatment plans, maintaining records, interpreting X-rays, and upholding highest standards of care and ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
