Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, seeks a dedicated dentist to join our established Boston-area practice. You will oversee the patient experience from initial exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on options, and create comprehensive treatment plans while maintaining accurate records. Massachusetts licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, and best practices.
