Job summary

42 North Dental in Massachusetts is seeking a DMD/DDS-credentialed Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care in a growing practice that offers periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

You will diagnose conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, educate patients, maintain records, interpret radiographs, and provide high-quality restorative and preventive care while upholding ethical standards and embracing

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
