Qualifications

• Active dentistry license in the state of practice.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B as proof of immunization.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
• Malpractice insurance coverage or proof of current policy.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health and options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and soft tissues.
• Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
