Job summary

42 North Dental, based in Boston, MA, invites a dedicated dentist to join our patient-centered practice in Nonantum. You will lead the complete clinical patient experience from initial exam through treatment planning and delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Required are a DMD or DDS, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and continuing education
