Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, is seeking a licensed DDS/DMD to join our Boston-area practice. The Dentist will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

We offer no-cost continuing education, mentorship, and a strong collaborative network of doctors. Applicants must be licensed in the state, provide hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and maintain current

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)
