Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, is seeking a general dentist to join our team in Southington, CT. You will deliver comprehensive patient care from exam to treatment and collaborate with our in‑house specialists.

The role emphasizes prevention, diagnosis, treatment planning, and maintaining high ethical standards while staying current with new techniques through ongoing education and mentorship.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases and discuss treatment options.
Educate patients on oral health and available treatments.
Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore health.
Review and update medical and dental records.
Interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting structures.
Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
Keep abreast of new developments and continue education.
