Job summary

42 North Dental in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Dentist to oversee the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment delivery, with in-office services in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance proof available.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS or CPR certification
