Job description

Summary

The general practice dentist serves as a practicing dentist who performs a full range of professional dental procedures in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative, or preventive measures.

Duties

1. Oral and radiographic examinations of the oral cavity
2. Diagnosing pathological or irregular oral conditions
3. Administering local anesthesia
4. Performing routine and complex restoration of teeth
5. Performing simple and complex extractions of teeth
6. Performing alveoloplasty and other routine surgical procedures
7. Performing prosthetic dentistry, including immediate dentures, full dentures, partial dentures, crowns, and fixed bridge work
8. Performing routine endodontic procedures on single- and multi-canal teeth
9. Performing routine and surgical periodontal procedures
10. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
