The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a general practice dentist to perform a full range of dental procedures, including treatment for dental diseases and preventive care. Candidates must hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine from an approved school and possess a current dental license. Experience in private practice or as a VA dentist is preferred, along with the ability to meet physical requirements for the role.
The general practice dentist serves as a practicing dentist who performs a full range of professional dental procedures in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative, or preventive measures.

Light lifting (under 15 pounds), moderate carrying (15-44 pounds), walking and standing for 4 hours each, rapid mental and muscular coordination, near vision correction (13" to 16" to Jaeger 1-4), one eye corrected to 20/20, other to 20/40, depth perception, ability to distinguish basic colors, hearing (aid permitted).
