Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Medical Director and Dental Director, the dentist is responsible for supervising the dental staff, managing dental activities, and providing oral health care such as fillings, extractions, dentures, root canals, etc.

Licensing & Certifications

• Current Illinois State Dental license
• Current DEA certificate
• Current CPR certification

Education

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree

Preferred Experience

• Minimum one (1) year practicing dentistry
• Skilled in recognizing symptoms of shock and fainting; prepared to provide aid during procedures
• Correctional experience preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred

Compensation

Estimated rate range: $95.00 - $115.00 +
