• Hours: Thursdays for intake only or full-time available for a General Dentist
• Location: Logan Correctional Center, Lincoln, IL
• Compensation: Guaranteed hourly rate; W-2 or 1099 status - you choose

Logan Correctional Center serves as an Intake Center for the Female Population in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

The role involves standard general assessments/exams during the intake process.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Medical and Dental Directors, the dentist is responsible for supervising dental staff, managing dental activities, and providing oral health care such as fillings, extractions, dentures, root canals, etc.

Licensing and Certification

• Current Illinois State Dental License
• Current DEA Certificate
• Current CPR Certification

Education

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree

Preferred Experience

• Minimum one year practicing dentistry
• Skilled in recognizing symptoms of shock and fainting; prepared to provide necessary aid
• Correctional experience preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred

Compensation

Estimated rate range: $95.00 - $115.00 +
