Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care, from exams to treatment planning and delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. You will educate patients, review plans, and maintain records with a focus on ethics and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must have DMD or DDS from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Active state dental license and malpractice coverage required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and BLS/CPR certification.
• Background checks and credential verification as part of hiring process

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education
