Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to lead the full patient care experience, from exams and treatment planning to delivering comprehensive dental services, including in-office specialties. You will provide high-quality care, educate patients, and collaborate with a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Discuss treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review, interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up to date with new developments and continuing education.
