Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, creating and reviewing treatment plans, maintaining patient records, interpreting x-rays, and delivering high-quality restorative and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
- Keep abreast of new developments and best practices through continuing education.
