Job summary

42North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, hand in hand with Boston's healthcare hub, seeks a dentist to lead the patient experience from exam to treatment plan and delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You’ll join a practice with strong patient flow and a commitment to continuing education and mentorship within a network of doctors. This is a full-time onsite role in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
