Job summary

Refuah Health Center in Spring Valley, NY is seeking a General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients, including definitive, emergency, restorative and preventive services, with daytime plus Sunday hours. Qualified candidates will have a DDS/DMD from an accredited program, NYS license to practice dentistry, NYS DEA registration and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental education program.
• Current, valid NYS license to practice dentistry.
• Active NY NY DEA Registration.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine examinations and treatment.
• Diagnoses ailments of oral cavity; performs and interprets X-rays.
• Performs teeth cleaning and dental work, including crowns, bridges, dentures.
• Performs limited dental surgery, restricted to extractions.
• Documents patient’s dental history and treatment.
• Supervises dental assistants and hygienists.
• Performs patient pain management techniques.
• Complies with applicable policies and supports the Compliance Program.
• Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as needed.

Education

DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by CODA

Current, valid NYS license to practice dentistry

Active NY DEA Registration

Salary Range: $146,250.00 - $212,000.00 Salary/year

The general Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to health center patients, including definitive, emergency, restorative and preventive dental care. This position includes daytime plus Sunday hours.

Dentist Responsibilities

Qualifications
