Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Dental Science (DDS) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) required.
  • Experience: DDS/DMD experience preferred.
  • Licenses: Must have and maintain current Michigan Dental License and DEA license.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct dental care for patients.
  • Conducts dental examinations and determines treatment plans for patients.
  • Provides diagnostic, preventative, restorative, endodontic, periodontic, prosthodontics, surgical, interceptive-orthodontic, and adjunct general services for patients.
  • Refer patients to specialty and generalist care as needed.
  • Coordinate Purchased Referred Care referrals for eligible patients.
  • Follow Privacy Act guidelines.
  • Supervise dental clinic in the absence of leadership.
  • Attend clinic committee meetings.
  • Participate in quality assurance program.
  • Assist in setting goals for the dental clinic.
  • All other job-related duties as assigned.
