Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a licensed dentist to join our Boston-area practice. You will oversee the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment plan and delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Malpractice insurance documentation.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
