Job summary

MRG Exams seeks a dedicated Dentist to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. You will review electronic records via a secure portal and document findings for VA forms.

This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medications. Schedule is 1 day per week or a few days per month with a typical caseload of 3–6 Veterans per day, in Fairdale, WV.

Qualifications

• Licensed dentist (DDS/DMD/OS) in West Virginia
• Proficient in electronic documentation and reviewing records
• Able to perform in-person disability assessments without providing treatment

Dentist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessments, you will review health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform an assessment in-person on each Veteran.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.


• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.


• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.

Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

• Schedule: 1 day/week or a few days/month


• Location: In-person role.


• Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average.


• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

Requirements:

• Has either a DDS, DMD, or OS.
