Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a dedicated Dentist to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA benefits process. You will review health records electronically and complete VA forms with clear documentation, while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.

This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medications. A structured schedule, no on-call duties, and support/training are provided to ensure accurate assessments and timely completion of forms

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD, or OS license in West Virginia.
• Active WV license to practice dentistry.
• Experience reviewing medical records and documenting findings.

Dentist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessments, you will review health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform an assessment in-person on each Veteran.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.

Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 1 day/week or a few days/month
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.
