Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Dentist to lead the entire clinical patient experience from the initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with education and mentorship available across a network of Doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Valid/state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance coverage.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism; stay current with developments.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
